דריו מנג'יו, מנהל המרקום באזור CEE, איטליה וישראל בשניידר אלקטריק (Schneider Electric), שעושה בימים אלה בישראל, קפץ לביקור קצר במאורת הנמר. איתו הגיעו קמיל ארדמן, מנהל התקשורת והשיווק של החברה במזרח אירופה ובישראל, וג'רלדין רוסנטל, מנהלת הפעילות שלה בארץ.

מנג'יו סיפר לי שהוא הגיע לישראל במטרה לבחון את האסטרטגיה השיווקית של שניידר אלקטריק בארץ ולפגוש שותפים אסטרטגיים, כדי להעמיק עוד יותר את הפעילות בתחום. הוא ציין לשבח את ענף ההיי-טק בישראל, החדשנות הטכנולוגית, ריבוי ההזדמנויות ואת ההון האנושי הקיים בארצנו הקטנטונת.

במהלך הביקור במאורה אמר מנג'יו כי לשניידר אלקטריק יש את היכולת להביא לצמצום ההוצאות על אנרגיה. לדבריו, המוטו של החברה הוא להשיג יעילות אנרגטית גבוהה, כאשר את משאבי התקציב המתפנים ניתן להפנות לפיתוח מערכות חדשות עבור הארגון. "עם המערכות החכמות של שניידר אלקטריק, גם משאבי הטבע פועלים לטובתנו ואנחנו יודעים לנצל אנרגיה חלופית – נושא השכיח באיטליה ומתפתח מאוד גם בישראל", הוסיף.

כמו כן, התייחס מנג'יו לטרנד המתפתח של האינטרנט התעשייתי של הדברים (IIOT), שהולך ותופס תאוצה בעולם, ובכלל זה בישראל. "מהפכה זו עולה בקנה אחד עם ההתפתחות של שניידר אלקטריק והיכולת שלה לחבר את המוצרים לארכיטקטורה אחודה של חומרה ותוכנה. שימוש בטכנולוגיה זו מוביל את היעילות התפעולית – דבר המאפשר לחברות לחסוך בהוצאות מיותרות", אמר האורח.
